American flags and flags of the world are a living legacy to behold
The flags of the world are symbols of recognition full of beauty and color for each country. For many countries they symbolize independence, honor and fight for liberty such as the US American flag. As we raise the flags of the world high on the flag poles, we sing a national anthem such as the Star Spangled Banner, which is a tribute to our great country.
American flags each have fifty stars, one for each state in the Union, plus thirteen stripes, seven red and seven white, which stand for thirteen original colonies. It is said that the first USA confederate flag was made by Betsy Ross.

50 flags to Kitty Hawk chooses Wyoming State Flag bearer
"50 Flags to Kitty Hawk", a national aviation celebration created by the Experimental Aircraft Association and the National Park Service to help commemorate the 100th anniversary of powered flight, today announced that Cheyennebased pilot Timothy Hu will represent the State of Wyoming by flying its official state flag to the Wright Brothers National Memorial on September 1, 2003.
Timothy Hu is one of 50 EAA members chosen - one from each state - to participate in the "50 Flags to Kitty Hawk" program, in which flags from all of the United States are flown to Kitty Hawk, NC, prior to December 1, 2003. Upon arrival, EAA-member pilots will take part in official flag presentation ceremonies, and their State Flag will be raised and flown at the Wright Brothers National Memorial site on that respective day. "Being chosen to participate in the '50 Flags to Kitty Hawk' and represent our state as part of this year-long program is a distinct honor", Timothy said. Timothy will make his "50 Flags" flight to Kitty Hawk in a Cherokee Six, a seven-passenger, single engine aircraft.
