Commemorative American flags to be placed at the graves of veterans as part of Memorial Day observances

Secretary of State Randy A. Daniels will be joined by representatives of local veterans organizations at Woodlawn Cemetery, 800 Grant Blvd. in Syracuse, Onondaga County, as he presents commemorative American flags to these groups to be placed at the graves of veterans as part of Memorial Day observances.

The flags are being donated by the Secretary to honor the sacrifices of veterans and to show our support for our brave troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and other areas of the world.
